What this covers

This policy covers the KudosQuest mini adventure and its Hall of Fame.

Information we use

When you play a ranked run we process your chosen player name, an anonymous player ID created on your device, your character, theme and mode, and your distance, duration and obstacles passed, with timestamps. We also record how each run played out: when you jumped, what you hit, your device type, screen size and frame rate. You can play without an account.

Accounts

An account is optional. If you create one we hold your email address, your sign-in sessions, when you confirmed you are 13 or older, your choice about news emails, your player name, character and theme, and which players on your devices you have claimed. If you add a passkey, we hold its public key and when it was added. The private part stays on your device. We use your email address to sign you in and to send service messages about your account. We only send news if you opt in, and you can change that at any time. Sign-in is provided by Moujave, which runs KudosQuest, through a shared account service. It holds your email address, your consent and which Moujave sites you joined. Other Moujave sites cannot see that you use KudosQuest. We do not store the IP address or browser details of a sign-in. Cloudflare sends our sign-in codes.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from your account page. That removes your KudosQuest account, passkeys, sessions, settings and claims straight away. Your Moujave sign-in is deleted too unless you joined another Moujave site. Hall of Fame runs stay under your player name, with no link to your email address.

IP addresses

When a run starts, the server uses your IP address briefly to create a one-way keyed hash that helps stop abuse. The raw IP address is not stored in our game database. Your anonymous player ID is also stored only as a keyed hash.

How we use it

We use this information to run the game, publish the Hall of Fame, check that scores are genuine, balance the game, prevent abuse and fix faults. We do not use advertising trackers.

Public Hall of Fame

Your chosen player name, distance, rank, mode and character may be visible to other players. Do not use your real name if you prefer not to publish it.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message, along with your IP address and browser details for spam checks and your consent to us replying. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the sender is a person. We use these details only to respond, and messages are deleted after a set retention period.

Service providers

The game is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver and protect the service. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page performance. It does not use cookies.

Retention and requests

Run-start records are deleted after they expire. Hall of Fame entries may be kept while the service operates, subject to operational and legal requirements. Contact us to request correction or deletion of an identifiable entry.
